How will I know when to renew it? 🗓️
You don't need to worry about remembering. If your document is due to expire, we will send you an email for its renewal during the last quarter of the year prior to its expiry.
Example: If you signed your form in 2022, we will send you the renewal request in the last quarter of 2025.
What is the renewal procedure? ✅
The process is very easy and quick. You can complete it using a computer or a mobile device without needing to download any app:
You will receive an email: We will send you an email from the DocuSign platform.
Give your consent: A disclaimer will appear where you must give your consent for the use of electronic records and signatures. Tick the box and click "Continue".
Review and sign: The form will already be pre-filled with your personal details. Check that all the information is correct. If it is, click the "Sign" box within the form.
Adopt and sign: A window will pop up to capture your signature. Click "Adopt and Sign".
Confirm and finish: Once you see the form with your signature, click "Sign" to complete the process.
That’s it! A copy of the signed document will be sent to your email and another copy to HeyTrade. Our team will review the details and contact you in the coming days to confirm that everything has been completed correctly.
Do I need to renew it if I don't hold US stocks? 🤔
Yes, it is mandatory. This form is a requirement for all users who sign up with HeyTrade. Even if you don't hold US stocks right now, by keeping the document up to date, you'll be ready if you decide to invest in them later.

To update your tax address:
If the tax address shown on the form is incorrect, we require official documentation to support your new domicile. Please ensure these documents are no older than 3 months:
Certificate of Residency (Certificado de empadronamiento).
Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, or landline phone), clearly showing your full name and new address.
You can attach this documentation to your email to support@heytrade.com so we can make the changes.
Remember: It is crucial that all your documentation is up to date as of 31st December of the year prior to expiry so we can continue to apply the corresponding reduction in US dividends in subsequent tax years.
